Brickcraft x Futurama Building Sets

Ever wish LEGO had every pop culture icon under the sun? Sadly, that’s just a brick-built fantasy. The Danish toymaker can’t possibly satisfy every fandom craving. Thankfully, we have brands like Pantasy stepping in to fill the void, covering iconic IPs like Astro Boy, Popeye, Metal Slug, and even Mazinger Z. If none of those float your nostalgic boat, maybe Brickcraft will.

These folks have been quietly cornering the ’80s pop culture market with sets featuring MTV, Dr. Seuss, Hello Kitty, Family Guy, Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake (yes, even that sugar rush of a franchise), and more. And now, another TV icon has crash-landed into their lineup: Futurama.

The turn-of-the-millennium cartoon that hurled itself into the 31st century has now been immortalized in plastic bricks by Brickcraft, kicking things off with two sets — the Planet Express Ship and everyone’s favorite foul-mouthed bending unit, Bender.

The Planet Express Ship set features 382 pieces and nails the ship’s signature three-wing design, printed cockpit, top turret, and rear booster. It even includes a sturdy display base and a nameplate, so you can proudly show off your questionable career choice in intergalactic delivery.

Meanwhile, Bender’s 396-piece set brings everyone’s favorite beer-loving robot to life with posable arms, legs, fingers, an opening torso, and his classic gold chain. Other highlights include accessories like a bottle and cans to complete Bender’s signature bad behavior.

Each set will sell for US$34.99 when they drop on May 1st at Walmart and shopbrickcraft.com. Anyhoo, now we just need Thunderbirds and The Jetsons to join the brick party.
