Casio Baby-G Hello Kitty Watches

If you did not manage to grab a Valentine’s Day gift for your favorite lady in your life, the Casio Baby-G Hello Kitty Watches could be your redeeming gift. A day before Valentine’s Day, CASIO USA announced a special Hello Kitty edition Baby-G commemorative watches to celebrate the brand’s 25 years and 45 years of Hello Kitty.

Based on the original BGA150 model with large, round watch face and metal bezel, the collaborative timepieces feature a case back engraving showcasing the brand’s 25th anniversary logo, a special drawing of Hello Kitty wearing a watch and adorned with a flower with the letter “B” for Baby-G. Two tones will be offered, pink pastel (BGA150KT-4B) and white (BGA150KT-7B), to reflect the classic colorways of Hello Kitty.

Moreover, the watches also include nods to both of the brands, with the letter “B” and Hello Kitty’s face on different positions and flower-shaped metal pieces on the dial faces. Beyond the Hello Kitty cosmetics, the Casio Baby-G Hello Kitty Watches also comes standard with G-Shock technology which includes 100 meters (about 330 feet or 10 ATM) water resistance, shock resistance, World Time with 29 time zones across 27 cities, LED light with afterglow, stopwatch and countdown timer, 4 daily alarms and 1 snooze alarm, 12/14 hour formats, and full auto calendar.

The Casio Baby-G Hello Kitty Watches, BGA150KT-4B and BGAKT-7B will cost $130 a pop when it becomes available in April 2019. You will be able to acquire it fro jewelers, baby-g.com, and G-Shock Soho store.

On a related news, CASIO America revealed the latest S Series collection of women’s fitness and lifestyle watches on the same day. Available with pink and gold accents to celebrate the arrival of spring, the four new wrist watches boast pastel colorways inspired by the season.

“Made for the modern, active woman, the new collection comes in updated case and band colors that are highlighted by the metallic accents of the watch faces. Boasting colors such as navy (GMAS120MF-2A2), grey (GMAS120MF-8A), black (GMAS130PA-1A), and pastel pink (GMAS130PA-4A), G-SHOCK’s new models combine a feminine look with the brand’s ethos of Absolute Toughness.“

New Casio G-Shock S-Series for Women

Furthermore, the GMAS130 is outfitted with G-Shock’s fitness-inspired technology, including step tracking capabilities, an automatic step counter display, an activity graph of the last 5 hours, and a non-active alert. Basically, it is a fitness tracker with proper timekeeping features, and of course, the toughness of G-Shock.

The GMAS120, on the other hand, is a lifestyle model featuring magnetic resistance and a speed indicator. Other common highlights include 200 meters (660 feet or 20 ATM) water resistance, shock resistance, auto LED light, 4 daily alarms, 1/100th sec stopwatch, and countdown timer.

The GMAS120MF-2A2, GMAS120MF-8A, GMAS130PA-1A, and GMAS130PA-4A goes for $130 a pop. At the time of this writing the GMAS120MF (both the 2A2 and 8A) is already available, but not the GMAS130PA.
