CASIO G-Shock 5600 Stainless Steel Bezel

Any CASIO G-Shock square case stainless steel bezel is possibly the closest you will ever get to the $70K CASIO G-Shock ‘Pure Gold’ Watch which, most lifeforms would not be able to afford. If you felt the same way, then you will be elated to know that CASIO has given a couple of its iconic G-Shock square case timepieces from its G-Shock 5600 series the stainless steel treatment.

Each timepiece is paired to a light-on-dark LCD design that further multiples its stylish factor. And boy, are they looking pretty dope. Three digital timepieces from the two models that have received the stainless steel bezel are GM-5600-1, and GM-5600B-1 and GM-5600B-3. CASIO said the stainless steel bezel on these digital timepieces are achieved “through cutting-edge technology,” though it did not elaborate further.

Other than the stainless steel bezel, the rest of watch is, TBH, pretty standard G-Shock 5600 series flair which includes EL backlight, flash alert, multifunction alarm, resin case and band, 200 meters (660 feet) water resistance, shock resistant (duh!), 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer and 12/24 hour formats.

The CASIO G-Shock 5600 with stainless steel bezel timepieces will be available starting this month for $180-200 through select high-end jewelers and gshock.com.
