Almost anyone can buy a good-sounding and visually striking Bluetooth speaker, but not everyone has the knack to build one. If you ever harbor the desire to build your own, well then, Taiwanese audio equipment maker, Celia & Perah, will let you do just that with Celia & Perah R3/R4 Bluetooth Speaker.

Celia & Perah R3/R4 are like Gunpla for audio enthusiasts. No, they don’t come in plastic sprue. However, they do come as a kit with everything you need and requires no special technical skills or tools to put together.

Celia & Perah R3/R4 Bluetooth Speaker System, as the name suggests, comes in two models: R3 and R4. Regardless of which model you choose, the features are the same. Features like a medium-density fiberboard (MDF) construction like a good speaker should, and a custom circuit board that boasts energy-efficient 30 W Class-D amplifier and Bluetooth 4.0+EDR with 30 feet (10 meters) of range.

The speaker further features two 2-inch 8 W full-range neodymium magnet drivers, a ported design, virtual bass enhanced algorithm, 3D algorithms to create immersive soundstage, built-in FM radio with a range of 87.5 to 108.0 MHz, 3.5 mm auxiliary input, USB port for playing back music stored on a flash drive, and a built-in rechargeable battery that’s good up to 8 hours of playback time.

Anyone who is keen this unique, super sleek Bluetooth speaker may consider pre-ordering it on Kickstarter for US$89 or more. Celia & Perah promised early birds that the company will ship before Christmas. If you miss the early bird’s perks, then you will have to wait till January 2021 for the goods to be shipped.
