CHEW Reusable Straw

So, you think reusable straw is merely a metal tube and that’s that? Well, think again. There’s actually more to it. The hassle of cleaning, and very thought of shoving still wet tube into its storage can really be a turn off. That’s not to mention if it has a sharp tip for piercing sealed drinks, it could potentially become a weapon. Now, that’s not exactly a fun lifestyle product, is it? This is where CHEW Reusable Straw wants to make the difference.

CHEW Reusable Straw

CHEW is so called because, one of its selling point is chewing. Yup. This straw here is for the chewer. It has a food-safe silicon tip to satisfy your need to nibble when you suck. It is not exactly a good habit to promote, but hey, if you need to chew, you gotta chew, right? Moreover, CHEW stands out as a straw that comes in two parts, as oppose to the norm of a full length or a collapsible design. By going with two parts, it can be thoroughly cleaned more easily and it also makes storage a breeze.

Speaking of storage, it comes with a specially design case which has a couple of tricks of its own. The case, which is made of recycled plastic, helps CHEW to dry by letting you spin it around your finger. The centrifugal force from spinning purges the water out through the vents at the bottom of the case, thereby keeping CHEW nice and dry. Though, TBH, the idea of spitting out water, however minuscule, may not be for everyone. I mean, it is just like shaking of water after washing hand, granted it would be a lot less water. Just saying…

Anyways, the case’s cap also boasts a discreet cutter of sort, allowing you to slit an opening on sealed drinks to insert the straw. By going with the cutter-in-cap, CHEW negates the need for dangerous sharp end while still enabling you to get the draw into sealed drinks with ease. Each CHEW comes with a two-part aluminum straw, a straw brush, the case, and accompanied by different textured silicone tips.
