In addition to the awesome Gene Simmons’ Axe bass guitar, there is another very noteworthy movie memorabilia, especially for fans of Batman, going under the hammer at the upcoming Entertainment & Music Memorabilia Signature Auction #7241.

Christian Bale Batman Cowl Batman Begins

The item is the Batman Cowl as worn by Christian Bale from Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins (2005, Warner Bros.). It was also the same cowl used in stunt sequences and subsequently used by “Batman Imposter” Brian Douglas in the 2008’s sequel, The Dark Knight.

“The mask is constructed of black foam latex on impregnated stretch nylon under-skin, with felt patches applied to nose and edges of the neck for actor’s comfort and embedded metal hoops for attachment to the costume. There is a zipper at the chin for ease of removal when the cowl was being shot from behind.”

The cowl is displayed on a hollow-cast resin life cast of Christian Bale. This is the part where I am not very clear. Does it come with the hollow-cast resin? If yes, then it would up the value even more.

As with most movie props, expect signs of age and wear (keeping in mind its more than a decade old). The Christian Bale Batman Cowl from Batman Begins has an opening bid of US$15,000 and will be open to bidders on July 16-18, 2021 in a live auction on entertainment.ha.com.
