believe it. what you see here is the image of the most expensive photograph ever to be sold in an auction. the photograph in question is Cindy Sherman‘s “Untitled #96” from 1981 which was sold at a record breaking $3.89 million to art dealer Philippe Segalot at the Christie’s auction last week. so what’s Mr. Segalot going to do with this $3.9 million photo? flip it? or keep it? whatever it is, it better be well shield and protected.
