Coca-Cola The Friendship Box NFT Auction

In any case you believe the future of collectibles is in non-fungible tokens, the Coca-Cola The Friendship Box NFT may be a worthy of an investment. Granted, whether or not it is actually “an investment”, remains to be seen.

With luxury brands like Hublot and toy maker, Mattel, embracing NFT and now, Coca-Cola, it (NFT) really could be the future of collectibles.

Anyhoo, if you are keen, the soda giant’s first NFT collection includes Coca-Cola Friendship Card, Coca-Cola Sound Visualizer, Coca-Cola-branded vintage cooler and Coca-Cola Bubble Jacket. As a boon, the latter is “wearable”, well, virtually, that is.

The digital Coca-Cola Bubble Jacket is a futuristic take of the classic delivery uniform that includes a unique 1-of-1 unlockable version that can be worn in Decentraland.

Coca-Cola The Friendship Box NFT Auction

Decentraland, for the initiated, is a decentralized 3D virtual reality platform powered by the Ethereum blockchain.

Drawing inspiration from video game loot boxes, the four items are being auctioned off as a single lot and will come with “hidden surprises” that will only be revealed when opened.

The Coca-Cola NFT was launched on International Friendship Day on July 30 with the auction for the lot ending in 17 hours or so (August 02, 2021, 8PM UTC). Obviously, you will need ETH to bid for the NFT.
