This is a digital kitchen scale masqueraded as a cook’s book by SUCK UK. Why? I have no idea. Maybe it is a shame to have a kitchen scale and hiding it away when not used is a good idea?
Or perhaps, you have some kind of obsessive-compulsive disorder like me who can’t stand a kitchen scale marring the look of your kitchen and having it in disguise, and among your cookbooks is a good idea?
Whatever it is, I think it will serve its purpose perfectly.
Just in case anyone’s wondering, the Cook’s Book Kitchen Scales by SUCK UK is functional digital kitchen scales concealed in a book and not a kitchen scale with an exterior of a book. There is a difference. It is much like a Dodocase iPad case. You get the idea.
As far as a kitchen scale goes, it has a Tare function to ignore the weight of containers, a one-touch switch between metric or imperial, and it has a maximum load of 5 kilograms or 11 lbs.
Find it on SUCK UK for US$41.25. If you ask me, this will make for a good stocking stuffer and it is not overly pricey.
