The proliferation of robots is imminent and it will have profound effects on the society such as, namely, lost of jobs, and not to mention the possibility of the existence of evil overlord called Skynet. While so, we never ceased to be amazed by what robots are capable of, even if they are just LEGO like this custom LEGO Car Factory realized by one Daniele Benedettelli. What you see here is a fully autonomous LEGO car factory built with LEGO elements.
Even more impressively, it lets you choose the colors of select components (such as the roof, rear et cetera) before the vehicle begin production. But as proven by scientists at NTU, getting robots to put together simple-to-human parts is no walk in the park and hence, this custom LEGO Car Factory, like the real world car factories, relies on pre-built components to facilitate a quick production. In fact, it is very much like the real world automobile production line, except that it has absolutely zero human intervention, or in this case, zero minifigure intervention.
Uh oh, it looks like some minifigs did really lose their jobs. Well, you know what they say? One minifig’s pain is one minifig’s joy, or rather, one man’s joy because, we are enjoying the fruits of Daniele’s labor, marveling and ogling at this awesome build non-stop.
