There are varying degree of violence in movies. Some like the Lord of the Rings and Marvel’s superhero flicks are considered mild and are widely accepted. As such big toy companies like Danish LEGO definitely has no qualms about turning out LEGO sets for those movies. And what about Mad Max: Fury Road? Ermmm… about that, we’d say that they are unlikely to be considered as mainstream LEGO set cos’ you know, Mad Max’s violence is a whole different ballgame. The MPAA rating pretty much tells it all as it is rated ‘R’ for “intense sequences of violence throughout, and for disturbing images.” We’d be surprise if it ever make it as an official LEGO product, until then Mad Max fans and lovers of LEGO will have to custom build those lovely spike-covered rides if they want them in their collection – just like what LEGO builder Will did.

He has created a bunch of them, including The Gigahorse (which happens to be a modified Ghostbusters Ecto-1), Interceptor, Doof Wagon aka Earsplitter for obvious reason (the speakers are functional, btw, though not earsplitting), and The Princess, which is the spike-covered big rig inspired by Furiosa’s War Rig. Already we can imagine the challenge in creating the collection. How the heck did he managed to find so many spikes and how did he managed to get them to stick out as they should?
