We heard Cyberpunk 2077‘s graphics was a failed on consoles. It turned out to have “very blurry” graphics. Like, that’s unforgivable. Considering how long it has been in development.
Since graphics are bad on consoles like PS4, why not “demake” it instead? Like, you know, have it in jagged, pixelated form like it was on PS1? (Remember the polygon Lara Croft? Yeah, like that). And demake was what game developer Anders Lundbjörk did.
The muddled look, the pixelation and the polygon nature of the characters make cyberpunk-themed Night City seems strangely appropriate. Lundbjörk even gave the ‘game’ the distinctive 90s aspect ratio. It is just perfect.
