The DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI from ECOVACS is a robot vacuum and mopper that is touted as the “market’s most advanced AI-driven floor cleaning robot” and a home monitoring device, aka a home security bot of sort.

This little fellow is able to do live video stream for remote monitoring, so you can check on your home, pets and stuff when you are away.

As a robot vacuum and mopper, the DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI features simultaneous vacuuming and mopping with TrueMapping – an advanced laser-based home mapping, object identification and avoidance system featuring DToF and AIVI (Artificial Intelligence and Visual Interpretation) technology.

ECOVACS said that this technology is faster than the current LDS navigation technology and it is capable of detecting small objects like socks and even cables. Plus, it has advanced carpet detection to avoid carpet when mopping.

When in vacuuming mode, there’s Carpet Boost and Suction that automatically adjust suction power based on the surface it is working on. For mopping, it has a 240 ml (8.12 fl. oz.) water tank that affords more than 100 minutes of mop time and covering over 2,000 square feet of flooring.

ECOVACS claims that the combination of vacuuming and mopping of the DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI is able to remove to 99.26% of bacteria.

A 5,200 mAh lithium-ion battery provides over 3 hours of operation and enables it to cover more than 3,000 square feet of floor in standard suction mode.

Finally, there is the Missed Area Notification in which the AIVI will push notification to you on areas that have been missed due to object blocking its path. You will be invited to remove the said obstacle(s) and once you do that, you can dispatch AIVI back to clean only the missed area with just a tap.
