New Balance has joined the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the $2 million New Balance Foundation has committed to support local, regional and global communities, the Boston sporting goods maker has announced on its Instagram page that its “U.S. factories are working to develop, manufacture and deliver face masks to the hospital community.”

The company also detailed on the brand’s website that they are producing prototypes for face masks at its Lawrence, MA manufacturing facility and expressed the desire to do the same in its other New England factories soon.

With no light at the end of this COVID-19 tunnel, it is nice to see corporate jumping in to lend a hand or two. We need it. The world need it.
