DIY Refrigerator Wrap Turns It Into A Rose Gold Appliance

When you pick up something from a garage sale, you will accept it as-is. Hardly will anybody ever thought of doing something to the newly acquired pre-loved items. Not for Gypsy Hughes, from Tamworth though. This mum had acquired a used fridge in a garage sale and decided that, though in pristine white, it (the fridge) could use a little sprucing up. Armed with a roll of adhesive vinyl in copper she picked up from Kmart, she proceeds to give the new old fridge a decidedly luxe but affordable makeover. The result, as you can see, is pretty stunning.

The fridge which was once somebody’s else love now rocks a cool rose gold hue, a color which is all the rage in the tech world and it looks like it is going to be a rage in the appliance world too since after Gypsy put up her creation on Kmart Mums Australia Facebook page. With a fridge looking this fantastic, it is no surprise that this one-of-a-kind rose gold fridge from down under has gone viral. Why do I have a feeling that many people will be on the rose gold kitchen appliance bandwagon? Why not? After all, it costs just 5 dollars and say, about half a day of your time?
