Dubai Police Tesla Motors Cybertruck

Dubai Police. The United Arab Emirates’ law enforcement agency best known for its flashy patrol cars and occasional oddities more than crime fighting, has expressed the desire to add Tesla Cybertruck to its fleet.

At this point, Dubai Police has become an outfit for showcasing exotic, fast and powerful rides. The law enforcement agency even go as far as to publish an image with the police department livery Photoshopped over the Tesla Cybertruck. But the effort is limited to just the side profile.

The law enforcement agency has nothing to worry. They will have all the time in the world to adapt the livery to the truck because, Tesla Cybertruck, as noted during the launch event, won’t materialize until 2021, or even later, in 2022, if the department choose to opt for the range topper.

To show how serious they are about inducting Tesla Cybertruck in the department, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, also chipped in a few words regarding its applications.

The chief was quoted telling Arabian Business that Cybertruck “will help enhance security presence in tourist destinations, such as the Burj Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, Jumeirah Beach Residence and La Mer.”

Dubai Police was probably sold by the body made out of Ultra-Hard 30x Cold Rolled stainless steel which is awesome for the intended purpose, but if they do procure this truck, they should really consider upgrading the windows though. You know, the windows aren’t exactly as tough as advertised. Just saying…
