Dungeons & Dragons Golden Archive Owlbear/Doric

First introduced to Dungeons & Dragons by Gary Gygax in the Greyhawk supplement, Owlbear has appeared in every subsequent edition of the game and it will soon appear in the first-ever live-action Dungeons & Dragons film, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

But Owlbear’s appearance in the movie is somewhat of a controversy. It was one of Doric’s Wild Shape ability forms which wasn’t really the case in the tabletop game. But that does not make the big screen Owlbear – and its toy, which was recently listed on Hasbropulse.com – any less cool.

Speaking of the toy, the Dungeons & Dragons Golden Archive Owlbear/Doric is a 6-inch (15.24 cm) premium action figure that can stand on two or on all fours with the 2 included additional bear paws.

In biped form, the figure towers at an impressive 9 inches (22.86 cm) tall. The figure is, of course, inspired by the upcoming movie.

The Dungeons & Dragons Golden Archive Owlbear/Doric is set to release on August 01, 2023. Meanwhile, fans can pre-order it on Hasbropulse.com as well as Amazon.com for US$44.99. Recommended for ages 4 and up.
