the S4 had its fair share of love from accessories makers and we are sure the new flagship S5 will also receive the same amount of love, if not more. that said, you’d be hard-pressed to find decent accessories for lower powered phone such as the GALAXY Core Advance, much less accessories that aims to aid the users. unknown to some, the Core Advance is very much a device geared towards the disabled and senior communities, and with that in mind, the Korean electronics giant has announced a few accessories that would boost the GALAXY Core Advance usability for these group of users. the whole idea is to ensure that the visually impaired and senior users who have difficulty in hearing and visual will be able to get the most out of their Android devices.
among the accessory announced that caught our eyes is the GALAXY Core Advance Ultrasonic Cover which uses sound waves to detect obstacles and aids the user to navigate through unfamiliar places by sending an alert through vibration or spoken alerts. the cover has a range of 2 meters radius and works by holding up the phone with the case in front of the user. the accessory joins the GALAXY Core Advance-specific features including Light Sensing app, Instant Voice Recorder, and Voice Guided Camera to further extend the GALAXY experience for the disable and visually impaired.
