Riding on the hype wave over the “real sequel” to the original Ghostbusters movies and a homage to the late Harold Ramis, one of the two original creators of the iconic 80s horror-comedy Ghostbusters, Hasbro has released a prop replica of Egon Spengler’s Neutrona Wand, aka Particle Thrower.
Obviously, unlike in the movies, this Neutrona Wand can’t really restrain ghosts, so it does not help even if you have the Ghost Trap already. Actual intended functionality or the lack thereof aside, Hasbro Ghostbusters Spengler’s Neutrona Wand will definitely have a place in your Ghostbusters altar.
But a word of warning to purists: this ain’t a replica of the 1984 blockbuster flick; it is based on the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife, offering premium design with deco based on the 2020 Ghostbusters film.
Features include authentic sound effects, LEDs and motorized vibrations. Furthermore, you will be able to cycle through four modes at a press of a button, including classic Proton Stream, Slime Blower, Stasis Stream, and Meson Collider modes. Powered by 3 AA cells which are not included.
