Godzilla x Mofusand Collection
Mofusand’s costume-loving cats have dressed as sharks, fried shrimp, and snacks. Now one of them is taking on its biggest role yet: Godzilla. The collaboration brings the feline King of the Monsters to plush collectibles and apparel, with plenty of cuteness but very little threat to Tokyo.

Mofusand, the massively popular Japanese character series featuring soft, round, expressive cats dressed in various adorable outfits, has “cosplayed” as everything from sharks to Japanese fried shrimp to snacks. Recently, its cosplaying career has taken on gigantic proportions—figuratively speaking, of course—through a collaboration that we expected sooner or later yet never saw coming. Folks, meet the Godzilla x Mofusand Collection.

Godzilla mofusand Collectible Plush

The star is, without question, the Godzilla Mofusand Collectible Plush. It features one of the famously round felines dressed as the King of the Monsters, complete with embroidered details and shimmering blue dorsal plates. The polyester plush measures approximately 30 cm (11.8 inches) tall, which is regrettably not enormous enough to flatten Tokyo. However, it is definitely more huggable than the real Godzilla—which is a strange thing someone wants to do with a radioactive reptile, but okay.

For portable destruction, there is also a 15 cm (5.9-inch) plush keychain featuring the same Godzilla kitty in a slightly different pose. It comes with a plastic ring for attaching the little kaiju to your keys or bag, where it can terrorize loose receipts and breath mints.

The remaining two items let you wear the crossover. The heavyweight oversized black T-shirt features screen-printed collaboration artwork with textured puff-ink lettering, while the cream pullover hoodie has an embroidered design on the front and screen-printed artwork on the back. Both were designed by Toho International and come in sizes S through 3XL.

The plush and plush keychain are available to pre-order for US$35 and US$18, respectively, with shipping estimated for December 2026. The US$32 T-shirt and US$60 hoodie are sold out at the time of writing. Tragic. Godzilla has survived the Oxygen Destroyer, but got wiped by style-conscious Godzilla and Mofusand fans.
