Apparently, in a concept art revealed in a 2019 book, The Art of Avengers: Endgame (not sure if is this book here), Tony Stark sends his nano suit onto Doctor Strange to enable him to escape the Ebony Maw’s torture needles. The result was Doc in an Iron Man suit.
However, instead of the arc reactor, the suit built itself around Doctor Strange’s Eye of Agamotto, turning it into a magically-powered nano suit.
Doc in an Iron Man suit was concept that we all now know did not materialize, but thanks to Hot Toys, what was only graphics and concept images are now immortalized as a 1/6th scale collectible figure.
The Hot Toys Avengers: Endgame (Concept Art Series) Iron Strange Figure 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure, as it officially called, replicates the armor that forms around the Eye of Agamotto on Doctor Strange.
The figure features a newly painted head sculpt in the likeness of Benedict Cumberbatch who played Doctor Strange and a body featuring the nano suit finished in metallic red, gold and silver, and specially designed chest plate fused with the Eye of Agamotto.
The figure, which stands 32 cm (12.6 inches) tall, further features over 30 points of articulation, die cast material, and 21 LED light-up points throughout parts of the armor.
The figure comes with an LED light-up Energy Displacer Sentries, interchangeable hands, hand cannons, a selection of mystic art effect, a themed backdrop and a dynamic figure stand.
The Hot Toys Avengers: Endgame (Concept Art Series) Iron Strange Figure 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure is available for pre-order for a grand price of US$440 from popular toy retailers like Sideshow. However, it will not be shipped until sometime in Q1 2023.
