if you have high expectation for the accessories that goes with your iPad 2, this latest Leather iPad Sleeve from Hard Graft might interest you. the exterior is of super soft leather while the interior is lined with rich British woven wool that cushion and protects your iPad from scratches. an oversized flap with double snap closure holds the iPad securely within the sleeve. i thought the double snap closure is a nice touch while most manufacturers would just go with a single closure or whole strip of velcro.

constructed from a single piece leather that was painstakingly hand selected and handmade in Italy. the leather is treated to premium vegetable tan which makes the textures and irregularities in color and shade unique to each and every piece of leather. Hard Graft listed this sleeve as ‘Limited Edition’ but there’s no mention on how limited is the ‘Limited Edition’. the sleeve will fit both original iPad as well as the new iPad 2. the plus point is, it will fit the iPad 2 with or without the Apple Smart Cover.

for ‘purists’ who prefer their iPad/iPad 2 to go naked, this is probably one option to protect the iPad/iPad 2 when not in use. however, the Hard Graft Leather iPad Sleeve doesn’t come cheap. it will set you back at a good 179 euro (about US$266). if i had that kind money to spare, i would even grab a custom color iPad 2 and slap on an Apple Smart Cover (tan leather, of course) to go with this Hard Graft item… that’s IF.
