What’s the use of the Spengler’s Proton Pack and the Neutrona Wand when you don’t know where the ghosts are? Even if the paranormal entities let you see them, there is no way of trapping them if you manage to rein them in. Not that the Haslab Ghostbusters Plasma Series Spengler Proton Pack is functional but it certainly won’t do Ghostbusters fans justice without other gears like the P.K.E. Meter and a Ghost Trap. Well, that my friends, that’s precisely why there is the Ghostbusters Plasma Series HasLab Two In The Box! Ghost Trap And P.K.E. Meter (also known as the Psychokinetic Energy Meter aka ghost finder).
Following the Proton Pack, HasLab’s Q for the ghostbusting unit has gone back to the lab and created this very important sequel to the hit project in 2021. With the spooky specters, the spirits can run but they ain’t be able to hide, and then when you do find them, you can confidently rein them in knowing you have a containment for them. Perfect. Or at least perfect for pretending you are doing so. It is awesome for any Ghostbusters fans who desire a proper Ghostbusters getup without having to craft the gear themselves.
The P.K.E. Meter is a 1:1 replica of the device in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021, Sony Pictures). This means in addition to detecting ghosts which is mimicked in real life by an innovative Real Life EMF Detection Mode, it has Taser Mode (not actual Taser, btw). The device is created using scanned from the Prop and features a multi-LED display panel, motorized LED-lined wings, entertainment-inspired sound effects, mode slide switch, Taser Mode (Spengler Upgrade) with Toggle Switch, and three Ghost Detection Modes. It comes with a sleek stand to display the P.K.E. Meter when not in use.
Also included in HasLab’s latest crowdfunding campaign is the iconic paranormal entities containment unit known as, well, the Ghost Trap. Also, a 1:1 scale replica of the gear saw in the 2021 film, this premium adult collectible boasts a removable cartridge, premium metal finishes, functioning diecast metal wheels, working activation pedal, working multicolored LEDs, working high-powered internal LEDs, entertainment-inspired sound effects, and functioning trap doors and rumble motor to further adds to the realism.
It also developed through scanning of the prop and comes with a 9-foot pedal-to-trap connection cable, as well as a docking station display stand. The is a bonus with the Ghost Trap; it features a Ghostbusters to Ghostbusters 2 aesthetic conversion. Plus it offers Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters 2, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife modes, so you can roleplay your favorite Ghostbusters movie.
The HasLab Two In The Box! Ghost Trap And P.K.E. Meter is currently being crowdfunded on Hasbropulse.com for a very working adult price of US$299.99. As before 10,000 or more backers are required before Hasbro will produce it. It looks like it won’t have an issue with backers. It is already more than halfway funded, and it has 44 days to go. The campaign will end at 11:59 PM EST on December 11, 2023.
