With an asking price of US$249, the AirPods Pro 2 puts itself firmly in the high-end earbuds territory. Just when you thought 250 bucks is all you can spend to own this little guy, Hermès prove you otherwise. Enters Hermès Case for AirPods Pro 2.
There is nothing particularly outstanding about this small accessory except that it is leather and it is Hermès, and oh, also, it commands almost 3 times the AirPods Pro 2, at US$930 a pop. Yup. Believe it. It makes little sense to some but there is, of course, justification for the price. I think.
For starters, it is Hermès. But we do not need to tell you that. Secondly, it is made in France. And thirdly, attention was poured into crafting it in the thinness of the leather which allows for wireless charging. Sweet. And let’s not forget that the pairing button is indicated by the hot-stamped Clou de Selle. Classy.
Finally, the Hermès Case for AirPods Pro 2 is a bag on its own, as proven by the fact that it comes with an adjustable strap, allowing it to be worn as jewelry such as a necklace or as a crossbody, or as a bag accessory.
