Maintaining your enamel can be an exhausting chore. There’s the repetitive cleaning action that seems to take eternity and if you want to get to the crevices, you gotta floss. What if you can do both with fewer “actions” at the same time? Well, folks, this is exactly what the SOOCAS Neos is made for.
SOOCAS Neos is a 2-in-1 brushing and flossing electric toothbrush. It marries an electric toothbrush with a water-based flossing tool, synchronizing brushing and flossing (note: not an Olympic event) which allows for full coverage, including reaching interdental gaps.
SOOCAS, the company behind it said, the Neos is good for sensitive gum too – thanks to its three strength settings to suit a variety of gum sensitivity. Another boon is, your bathroom can be rid of one more oral care product.
Moreover, by brushing and flossing at the same time, you’d save yourself up to 1,460 minutes a year, said SOOCAS.
The electric toothbrush creates dense bubbles by vibrating at high frequencies while the flossing function, i.e. the high-pressure, targeted water jet, delivers toothpaste foam into hard-to-clean areas like the interdental spaces and the gum line.
SOOCAS the Neos can achieve deeper cleaning by removing 40 times more dental plaque when compared with manual brushing.
But it is not without cons. The obvious (cons) being it is slightly larger than a regular electric toothbrush. And it is most definitely heavier too. However, this turns out to be a pro too because the chunkier-than-usual size is due to a built-in water tank for the flossing function which means there are no additional water containers to deal with and no water line to get tangled to.
You can learn more about this new innovative electric toothbrush over at Kickstarter where it is having a crowdfunding campaign in which you can pre-order a unit at a discounted price of US$134 or more (U.P. US$229.98). Before you do that, you may want to check out the campaign after the jump.
