Wearing a mask is a necessity at this point. After months of wearing it, I discovered an issue: where do I store my mask when I need to temporary remove it? Well, it looks like my question has been answered by HideaMask.

HideaMask Baseball Cap with Integrated Face Mask

HideaMask is a baseball cap with an integrated, retractable face mask. An ingenious design allows the face mask to be collapsed and conceal under the visor (or bill, or brim, if you will). Deployment and stowing of the face mask is literally just seconds.

Embedded magnets hold the mask in place under the brim when folded away and the mask is removable and washable. The mask has adjustable fit in front and at the back side areas, and it has a wide coverage, and very importantly, it has a good space in between the mouth/nose and the mask for comfort fit.

The design is much like the duckbill style mask which has ample space between the mouth/nose and the mask for comfort wear and easier breathing (and maybe talking?). And also, with this mask, you won’t have anything pulling on your ears. Not sure about the fit for glasses-wearing folks, though.

You can find HideaMask on Kickstarter where you can pre-order one for US$26 and up. Keep going for a product pitch video to learn more.
