In case you enjoy listening to music while reading, HiSense’s latest eReader will be right up your alley. Called Touch, it is the world’s first e-ink eReader with MP3 player – a device that blurs the line between a media player, a phone and an eReader.
HiSense Touch is powered by Qualcomm chip with 1.8 GHz processor and its 5.84-inch e-ink TFT touch display is surrounded by super thin 4.52 mm bezel and boasts built-in dual-color temperature reading light.
Also onboard is a four-channel ambient light sensor that enables 2,048 levels of screen brightness adjustment and 36 color temperature.
On the audio reproduction aspect, Touch benefits from ES9038 decoder chip, ES9603 amplifier chip, 1216 super linear speakers tuned by Swedish Dirac, and supports AAC. And it is Hi-Res Audio certified.
Other highlights include dynamic refresh rate, global text anti-aliasing, high-contrast text 4 GB LPDDR4x memory, 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage, USB 3.1, built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, and a 3,000 mAh battery that supports 18W QC 3.0 charging.
All these goodies are packed inside a unibody device measuring just 7 mm thin and weighing just 155g. The device runs on Android 11 based Touch OS which affords user customization.
The HiSense Touch eReader with MP3 Player will be in China starting June 01 for 1,599 yuan (or roughly US$251).
