The Hot Wheels RC The Batman Batmobile is cool and all with the movie-accurate details, LED light-up functions, and display diorama. But lets be honest, not every Bat fan can afford or are willing to part with 500 bucks for an RC car/collectible. This is where the Hot Wheels RC The Batman Original Edition Batmobile comes in.
The Hot Wheels RC The Batman Original Edition Batmobile is the more affordable version and at the same sizeable 1:10 scale. At a cheaper price, sacrifices have to be made, though.
Sacrifices like the lack of details in and out, no water-activated mist effect, and the lack of an animatronic Batman figure inside the cockpit. But in return, the cabin can accommodate most 7-inch action figures if you really want a figure or two inside.
The more affordable version also does not come with the diorama that makes it “display worthy”. However, you still get a pistol grip remote control and it is fully capable of a top speed of over 10 mph (16 km/h).
It does have light-up features, albeit in fewer places. Realistic LED lights can be found in the headlamps as well as the rear jet. Rounding up the feature list is a set of working suspensions and oh, did we mention that it is rear-wheel drive? Just like a muscle car should.
