By now, you are probably familiar with HTC U11 and the U11 Life, but unbeknownst to some, HTC U11 has another model, the U11+. Introduced late last year, the U11+ is the largest of the now-three-model U11 line-up. Although it is supposed to be available internationally late 2017, we don’t find it anywhere on U.S. website and so we thought we give it a mention here today. A quick one, though. Highlight is no change from the U11; it is the HTC Edge Sense where squeezing the phone will enable access to any app, take photos and more.
Similarity continues to the processor, which is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, as well as the RAM and storage (which is 4/6 GB and 64/128 GB, respectively). The latter is expandable up to 2 TB via the microSD card. Other perks of the HTC U11+ includes a larger 18:6 aspect ratio 6-inch QHD+ Super LCD 6 display with 2,880 x 1,440 pixels packing 537ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 5, while the camera also appears to be the same as the HTC U11. To save you the trouble of discerning the difference between the two models, do keep going for a table of specs comparison.
Before you do so, we heard the HTC U11+ costs £699, which is a hundred more quid over the U11, and oh, in addition to the same molded liquid design as the original U11, the U11+ also gets a rather dope colorway, a thing called Translucent Black (pictured above and below this paragraph) that lets you have a peek on some of its innards. Sweet.
