This is Huawei Watch GT 2e, a sportier take of the Watch GT 2 introduced last September. Supposedly designed to “inspired an active lifestyle,” it boasts 100 workout modes, ranging from traditional sports to “more trendy forms of exercise” like rock climbing, surfing, skateboarding and more.
In addition to the usual heart rate monitoring, abnormal heart rate reminders, pressure level monitoring, and sleep monitoring, it also has a new blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring feature.
Other key notables include a 1.39-inch AMOLED touch display with support for “Retina-grade resolution,” 2-week battery life, and music playback with storage for up to 500 songs.
The Huawei Watch GT 2e will go on sale for €199 (about US$219) on April 15, 2020.
With the announcement of the new Watch GT 2e and the P40 Series, Huawei also formally introduced to the world the Huawei Sound X which it went live in China market last November. But price and the availability are not known.
