Hyundai 45 Concept Mini EV Kiddie Ride

Kiddie ride based on real automobiles are not new. Aston Martin, Bugatti, Tesla, McLaren and more have them. And now, Hyundai, too, has one. Folks, meet the smallest Hyundai EV yet, the Hyundai 45 Concept Mini EV. It is based on the ’45’ EV concept.

However, unlike other automakers, Hyundai has taken eco-friendly kiddie rides a notch, by having it made out of wood. Well, wood where possible, that is. No plastic body and that’s pretty darn cool.

The Hyundai 45 Concept Mini EV features the signature ‘kinetic cube lamp’ design of the ’45’ and same angular and yet smooth profile. This particular example is presented in a Performance Blue paint job with orange accents.

It is powered by dual 24V DC motors rated at 240W in total that pushes it to a blistering top speed of 7 km/h (4.3 mph). Official driving range is not disclosed, but Hyundai said the “driver’s laughter is believed to fuel the vehicle to travel further based on its Emotion Adaptive Vehicle Control (EVAC) technology.” Now that, my friends, is clever marketing.

No words on the pricing or if it will even be made available. More details are expected to be revealed on this made-for-kids EV.
