iPhone 7 Concept by Eduardo Guerrero

It will be at least a good seven months before iPhone 7 will be announced, but rumors have been piling up since last year with one purported render. Notwithstanding, designers have their own take and the latest to surface is this one from industrial design engineer Eduardo Guerrero. In consistence with one of the rumor of bigger display on a same size device, Eduardo has envisioned a concept iPhone 7 with a display that leaves no room for bezel. That’s right. It is a 100 percent bezel-less device which, if realized, could only be a dream come true for bezel-haters (yours truly, included). However, deep down, we know it is probably not going to happen because of usability issue as holding the device would result in accident activating of some features and to some extend, the “structural integrity” would be compromised.

Anyways, it is nice to see folks daring to dream of bezel-less design. Like Martin Hajek’s take we saw last year, Eduardo also includes a display-based Touch ID Home button. In addition, it also incorporated wireless charging into the mix. However, Eduardo still retains the antenna band, albeit in a vertical manner, which the rumors suggested the new device will have nothing of such. Also, it appears to have a camera with a raised bezel on the back, but again, the some rumors suggest otherwise. Last but not least, in line with the rumor of no headphone jack, Eduardo’s design will not have the audio connector and it looks like it as some sort of new type connector too. We try to scour the web space for more inform, but unfortunately, we found none except for what you have read here. Anyways, it is good effort on Eduardo’s part.
