You Can Pick Up The James Bond Golden Gun 1:1 Scale Prop Replica For $800

Officially licensed collectibles usually cost quite a bid as we previously mentioned. Movie prop replicas are even more out of reach, usually costing as much as four figures or more. Not in the case of the James Bond The Golden Gun Limited Edition Prop Replica by Factory Entertainment, though.

This is a 1:1 scale prop replica of arguably one of the most recognizable silver screen firearm of all time, the Golden Gun, as seen in the 9th James Bond film starring Roger Moore, 1974’s The Man With the Golden Gun.

Officially licensed by Danjaq LLC and EON Productions, the replica can be assembled and disassembled into its machined and cast metal, 24k gold-plated component parts.

The components comprised of the following:

• Fountain Pen – Forming the ‘barrel’ of the replica, the pen screws directly into the body of the lighter. Includes removable thread cap. An orange marking has been added to the end of the barrel to comply with modern regulations concerning replica weapons.
• Lighter – With a hidden ‘slide out’ section the lighter forms the main body of the replica. The lighter ‘lid’ opens to reveal a breech chamber.
• Cigarette Case – Open the end to create the handle and trigger housing of the replica.
• Cuff link – With a sprung blade, the cuff link screws into the trigger housing, firmly locking all the components together and allowing for a trigger-like effect.
• Bullet – A replica bullet inscribed with the 007 legend that can be fitted into the ‘breech’ of the cigarette lighter or displayed separately.

Each replica includes a classy, piano-black lacquered wooden presentation case with a ghosted 007 logo on the acrylic window lid. On the inside, it has a reversible liner that lets you display the replica in its assembled or disassembled form.

Additionally, it comes with a metal plaque detailing the edition number (edition size to be confirmed), a detailed prop story booklet and a certificate of authenticity.

All these for $799.99. 800 bucks is, admittedly, not exactly cheap, but if you are into movie prop replicas, you know it is not an exorbitant price either.
