Usually, an action figure will be, well, just an action figure. You get it to pose and that’s that. Not the Kaiyodo Revoltech Magneto Action Figure, though. This 6.5-inch tall Magneto figure is true to its comic book character. It, too, has magnetic power. It has the power to… uh, hold onto paperclips?

Admittedly, not the most impressive mutant power, but hey, it is an action figure that don’t just stand idly on your desk. It is functional, albeit for paperclips or perhaps other super lightweight metallic objects. Thanks to the magnetic disc attachments that replaces the default clenched fists, Kaiyodo Revoltech Magneto Action Figure is able to hold onto small metallic objects. Nifty.

Otherwise, the figure is a basic posable figure made out of ABS and PVC. It is likely the most useful toy we have come across since Bandai AT-AT Desk Tidy. Kaiyodo Revoltech Magneto Action Figure comes with an alternate head sculpt, the iconic helmet to keep Charles out of his head, a posable cape (note: not fabric), and a transparent stand to recreate the floating effect.

Kaiyodo Revoltech Magneto Action Figure is created by Japanese sculptor Katsuhisa Yamaguchi and it can be found listed on Amazon for $85.61.
