We all know Ken Block has an insatiable appetite for speed and what you didn’t know is, the man’s need for speed transcends tarmac, dirt track, and snow; water happens to be his thing too and hence the Supra Ford Raptor Boat you see here. Originally a 2018 Supra SL wakeboard boat, this watercraft is custom for Ken Block by Marine Products. Befitting the road-going speed demon, this Supra Ford Raptor Wakeboard Boat is pushed forth by a 6.2L V8 supercharged motor from the Ford Raptor – specially prepped by marine specialist Indmar to ensure it is ready for water duties and also, making sure it has enough oomph to kick out some serious waves.
Speaking of serious oomph, the old Ford Raptor motor is not outfitted with a Roush supercharger that yields an impressive 580 lb-ft (786 Nm) of torque. But why a Supra? Well, because, with a Supra, it has the option for it to be powered by a supercharged Raptor V8 which is kind of a Block’s thing. Block may be hitting the waters, but he never let his need for speed blinds his passion for a Ford Raptor. The boat is complete with a custom wrap to match the man’s race cars for this current season. This summer, Block will be hauling this Supra to the local lakes with his matte black Ford F450, and making waves with his kids. Well, the man sure know how to live life, don’t he?
