what you see here is not an oversized motion sensor bar but it is actually the latest audio system from Kilpsch, dubbed the Gallery G-17 Air. as the name suggest, one of the highlight of this speaker system is the support of AirPlay that enables it to wirelessly connect to your iTunes library. first surfaced in the CES earlier this year, Klipsch has finally stamped down the specifications of this gorgeous piece of hardware.

under the hood of this compact 17-inches long speaker system is a bi-amplified system with a pair of 2.5-inches, 20 watts long-throw IMG woofers, two Tractix Horned 0.75-inches tweeters rated at 10 watts each. inputs include AirPlay, a 3.5mm analog jack, as well as an USB for digital input from iPod. the speaker can either be wall-mounted or use with the included dark glass base to suit different decor. it does come with a magnetically-attached grille-cloth but i thought it looks equally cool without it. expect the Klipsch Gallery G-17 Air to hit the stores this Fall with a MRSP of $530.
