There is something alluring about LEGO Star Wars. Perhaps the LEGO elements with the studs and LEGO Technic components accentuate the futuristic nature of Star Wars hardware.
While the newly revealed LEGO 75306 Imperial Probe Droid Set does not have a lot of pieces with stud, it look strangely movie-accurate. I dig it. I dig it even more because, the LEGO-lized Imperial Probe Droid was straight out of the second movie of the original trilogy, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
This 683-piece, designed for 18+ collectors build-and-display set, lets you build a detailed Imperial Probe Droid that features posable legs and comes with a transparent, brick-built pole to replica the droid hovering over a buildable snowy scene. Finally, an information plaque rounds up the package for the UCS-style look.
When completed, the set measures 10.5 inches (27 cm) tall, 9 inches (24 cm) wide and 4 inches (11 cm) deep.
The LEGO 75306 Imperial Probe Droid is a small set, but no less definitive then the rest of UCS Star Wars set.
The LEGO 75306 Imperial Probe Droid is set to drop on April 26, 2021, for US$59.99. Eager fans can secure a set or two (which is the limit set by LEGO) by pre-ordering it on LEGO.com.
