Well, it turns out that LEGO’s April Fool’s prank was a foreshadowing of what was to come. We may not have a human-size, brick-built Minion Tim but fans will be treated to a couple of regular-size Gru and Minions LEGO sets.
Launched in celebration of the release of Illumination’s Despicable Me 4 on July 3 are four LEGO Despicable Me 4 sets, with a sneak peek already provided for two: Gru’s Family Mansion, featuring iconic elements from the movie, and a Brick-Built Gru with dancing Minions, including Mel with a ukulele and Kevin with his fart gun.
Fans can look forward to these sets launching on May 1, 2024, available via LEGO stores, lego.com, and select retailers worldwide. This collaboration aims to fuse imaginative play with the beloved Despicable Me universe, offering fans new ways to engage with their favorite characters and stories.
