It’s a Monday and this means not a good day. Thankfully, today is also April Fool’s Day which means not everything you see or read is real and ought to inject some fun to a dreadful day. Sometimes an April Fool’s Day prank is super obvious that it will put a smile on your face, and sometimes it is super obvious that did wish it was a real product.
Strangely, though, I find this year a little quiet. Nevertheless, we stumbled upon three that actually quite fun. The first is from the king of fun and games, Razer, with its, wait for it, Razer Cthulhu, a Razer gaming chair armed with eight AI-powered robotic arms to keep you glued to your seat.
The arms can groom your hair, massage your shoulders, grab you a drink, and more. Basically, it is the Doc Ock of chairs and a dream come true for so many gamers.
Up next is my go-to April Fool’s Day prankster: Scalextric. The slot car maker has introduced its newest slot car that is, well, invisible. Meet the Camouflage Series 1 Land Rover. It is said to be imbued with Scalextrix’s stealth technology that allows the car to blend seamlessly into its surroundings.
The stealth tech is so good that Wonder Woman will be proud! The prank is accompanied by an image of a Scalextric car with only wheels and axles, a person behind a steering wheel, a spare wheel on top of what would be the hood and the Scalextric contact. LoL! 😂 I wish this was real!
Finally, there is LEGO. Last year, LEGO pulled an awesome prank that was literally not for everyone but this year, it is for all. The Danish toymaker has shared a post on X.com claiming “something big just dropped” and it is “the first supersized LEGO set” of a Minion Tim.
This supersized Tim is made up of 102,213 pieces and towers at 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) when completed. As expected, it contains many, many incredibly yellow bricks. Though no explanation of how the little hairs are built. LoL! 😆
