Petrolheads who have a thing for classic American automobiles and LEGO will be thrilled to know that LEGO LEGO-lized one of the most endearing cars in the history of American automobiles: the Corvette. Not just any Corvette, mind you. It is the revered 1961 Corvette Cabriolet.
Given its brick-built nature (That’s right. This is NOT a Technic set), I think LEGO Icons Corvette (10321), as it is called, captured the look and feel of the iconic Chevy perfectly.
The brick-built replica of the legendary cabriolet measures over 4 in. (10 cm) high, 12.5 in. (32 cm) long, and 5.5 in. (14 cm) wide when completed, and boasts a boatload of authentic features, including an opening hood and trunk, a detailed engine bay with a spinning radiator fan and working tie-road steering, interior detailing, and a removable roof for hard- or open-top styling.
In addition to having the choice of displaying it with the roof or without, you get to display it with one of the three sets of license plates that are included with the 1,210-piece made for adult fans of LEGO set.
