LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Bust 75439 and Yoda Bust 75438 mini display models with nameplates and minifigures
LEGO expands its Star Wars display lineup with new mini busts of Darth Vader and Yoda, bringing helmet-level detail to a compact format complete with rotating head features, nameplates, and matching minifigures.

Good news for LEGO fans who love all things Star Wars. The LEGO Star Wars lineup has expanded beyond the usual brick-built helmets. It has busts now, too. Joining the Marvel mini-bust collection are two of Star Wars’ most iconic characters: Darth Vader and Yoda.

LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Bust (75439)

We start with Darth Vader because we need to share some thoughts about Yoda.

The LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Bust (75439) is a surprisingly accurate brick-built recreation of the Sith Lord. It uses 349 elements and clever construction techniques to recreate the details of the Dark Lord’s helmet and upper chest/shoulders region—right down to the chain of his cape. Vader is complete with a buildable stand, flanked by the requisite nameplate and a space for a Darth Vader minifigure. It is very much like a commemorative LEGO sculpture for the most-loved villain in the franchise, but it is not completely a sculpture since the head can be rotated.

When completed, the Darth Vader mini bust measures a handy 18 cm (7 inches) tall, 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide, and 9 cm (3.5 inches) deep. Because of its petite size, it allows curved surfaces to be achieved with larger pieces, and hence achieves an almost SNOT (Studs Not On Top) build, which the helmet set cannot. I think it looks great. It’s my cuppa, for sure.

LEGO Star Wars Yoda Bust (75438)

As for the LEGO Star Wars Yoda Bust (75438), it is kind of the same, but man, is that tiny Jedi sage in shock? I mean, you can still see it is Yoda, but what’s up with the underside of the elements on the ears? Not the prettiest sight, IMHO. And do not get me started with the eyes that look like he has seen something horrendous. Then there’s the mouth. The latter is closer to a primate than that of the little green grandmaster.

Anyhoo, the Yoda mini bust, which packs 399 elements, is based on his appearance in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and comes with a buildable lightsaber. When completed, the bust measures 12 cm (8 inches) tall, 10 cm (4 inches) wide, and 9 cm (3.5 inches) deep, and features a poseable head and ears for some level of expression. It comes with a buildable stand with the nameplate and a space for a minifigure to flank it. And yes, it does come with a Yoda minifigure.

The LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Bust (75439) and the LEGO Star Wars Yoda Bust (75438) will drop on April 26, 2026, for US$49.99 and US$39.99, respectively.
