LEGO x Nike Collaboration Announced

It’s unclear if LEGO and adidas’ multi-year collaboration has officially wrapped, but sneakerheads can look forward to a new footwear collab with the Danish toymaker. LEGO has just announced a team-up with Nike for a multi-year partnership. Like the adidas collab, expect a brick-built sneaker and actual sneakers.

Kicking off the partnership is the LEGO Nike Dunk Set (43008). This 1,180-piece set, designed for kids aged 10 and up (or, once again, for us grown-ass people), features a Nike Dunk sneaker, a rotatable brick basketball toy, and the iconic “Dunk” slogan. The whole setup is altar-worthy, IMHO. It looks like a diorama of sorts—except bigger—and if you ask me, it’s a perfect homage to the legendary sneaker.

I can already picture Nike execs nodding solemnly in boardrooms, insisting they do something different from LEGO’s adidas collab (which was purely a brick-built version of one shoe).

Anyhoo, the LEGO Nike Dunk Set (43008) isn’t just a build-and-display piece. It’s got hidden compartments to stash things like championship rings, essentials like earbuds, and whatever else you pretend to carry. Oh, and it includes extra brick “laces” so you can swap out colors.

The sneaker is, of course, inspired by the iconic Nike Dunk—first launched and worn over 40 years ago. Rounding out the package is a unique basketball minifigure named B’Ball Head, who quite literally has a basketball for a head.

When completed, the model measures 9.5 in. (25 cm) high and 15 in. (38 cm) wide. Pre-orders for the LEGO Nike Dunk Set (43008) are now open, with shipping set to begin on July 1, 2025. The asking price is US$99.99.

Additional LEGO sets from this collab will drop in September, with more details coming this summer. Meanwhile, Nike’s side of the release kicks off August 1 with the Nike Air Max Dn x LEGO Collection, plus a line of apparel and accessories. Then, on September 1, the Nike Dunk Low x LEGO Collection will follow, all celebrating the lifestyle of sport and play.

The kicks themselves are LEGO-inspired, complete with iconic stud designs and stylized LEGO Minifigures—features that should send collectors straight into frenzy mode.
