Leica M10-P “Ghost Edition” For HODINKEE

Shutterbugs with an exquisite taste for timepieces will surely appreciate this latest Leica camera, created in collaboration with watch blog/watch e-retailer HODINKEE. Yes, that’s right. Is it the HODINKEE.

Just like the latest Paul Smith collab, Leica M10-P “Ghost Edition” For HODINKEE, as it is called, features some strong cosmetic touches that screams “look at me, I am not your run-of-the-mill Leica!”

For this collaborative camera, the iconic Leica red logo has been omitted in favor of a cleaner, uninterrupted look.

Based on the German camera maker’s M10-P, Leica M10-P “Ghost Edition” For HODINKEE is inspired by a watch with a faded “ghost” dial and bezel HODINKEE founder and CEO, Ben Clymer, own at the start of his career.

The high-end snapper sports a brass plate top and bottom, slathered in warm grey finish, a center wrapped in cement-colored leather, and white and grey colored engravings can be found around the camera.

The camera is paired to a 35 mm Summilux-M lens in white with the previously red alignment dot now presented in white consistence with the overall theme. Rounding up the package is a matching lens hood and a matching grey nylon Leica rope strap with a touch of leather.

Each camera is individually numbered on the hot shoe and labeled “Ghost Edition For HODINKEE” underneath the battery compartment cover.

Man, this camera is an absolute beauty, but is it beautiful enough to get you to part with $14,995 of your hard-earned money? We shall let you be a judge of it.
