Kickstarter’s mission is to help bring creative projects alive. Though so, it has seen its fair share of quirky, if not weird, projects. Some are really brilliant, actually, while some are fairly regular stuff that makes you exclaim, “what will I do without it!” Well, the Life Wipes is one of product pitched that belongs to the latter. Unlike what the product name implies, it does not literally wipe your life and so, don’t go around doing bad deeds and expect this mega size wet wipe to miraculously wipe away your sins away. It can, however, wipe you clean, like in a literal sense, which means it is essentially a wet wipe but in a ginormous proportion, or 2 feet by 1 feet, to be exact.
Its creator said Life Wipes “is inspired by a passion for adventure and designed with practicality in mind.” That said, it is, in a sense, something like a Tardis: small on the outside but big on the inside. In the case of Life Wipe, it is about the size of packet tissue and opens up to a huge-ass wet wipe that functions just as good as a towel. So whatever shit you hit on the road, you can clean yourself up effectively. We don’t know about you, but to us, Life Wipe sure sounds like something campers could use. However, one question remains: is this really an environmentally friendly life’s solution to keeping yourself clean on the go?
To be honest, we have doubt too but Life Wipes assures us that the all-natural spunlace cotton, which is made from, is biodegradable and the packaging is made from recycled material. In addition, it claims to include soothing Aloe Vera and enriching vitamin E, so it is kind of several steps up from your typical towel and river water combo. If you still can’t wrap around your head around what Life Wipe is, just think of it as baby wipes, but only way, way bigger.
