Live-action Cowboy Bebop Official Trailer

You have seen the first images and the opening credits, now have a look at the first (and likely the only) official trailer of the much-anticipated live-action adaptation of the anime, Cowboy Bebop. We have nothing to say about the trailer except that it is well put together.

When I said “well put together” means it (the trailer) showed us just enough to make us want to watch it and not the kind “oh, there, we have seen it all.” If you know what I mean.

My favorite shot from the trailer. This should be made into a desktop wallpaper.

For the uninitiated, here’s what the new Netflix TV series is about:

“COWBOY BEBOP is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka “cowboys,” all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them.”

The original series director, Shinichirō Watanabe, served as a consultant for the live-action series while the original composer, Yoko Kanno aka Gabriela Robin, returns to weave her magic for the live-action adaptation. Awesome.
