Mattel Brick Shop Battle of Castle Grayskull
Mattel is rolling out a massive Masters of the Universe movie merch lineup, led by a brick-built Castle Grayskull play-diorama alongside Barbie Signature dolls, Origins figures, Hot Wheels cars, UNO cards, and more 🏰🗡️🚗

Mattel is going really, really big to mark the new Masters of the Universe live-action movie. When I said “big”, you know I mean more toys. It has a bunch, starting with this: the Mattel Brick Shop Battle of Castle Grayskull. That’s right, folks. Another brick-built Castle Grayskull, but unfortunately, this is far from the complexity of the Mega Construx set from 2019.

This Mattel Brick Shop version, of course, is inspired by the secretive and mystical fortress of Eternia as seen in the movie. Not a lot is known about this set—or any other MOTU movie toys, for that matter. However, from the images, we know it only has the front section of the castle, and it will come with a bunch of non-posable miniature figures (I believe they are known as NanoWorld Figures)—including Prince Adam in his Earthly attire, whom you can place against a buildable backdrop where he transforms into He-Man—complete with lightning effects.

It is not a huge set for sure, but even so, it has a bunch of details. The castle features details like the red wall-crawling vegetation, the jagged footing, and more. Not going to lie. It does look very cool and feels more like a diorama than a playset. Details like the actual number of pieces, the number of miniature figures, the age category, and the pricing have not been revealed. We do know that it will be available this summer.

Oh, this new brick-built Castle Grayskull will not be alone. It will be joined by a buildable Snake Mountain Lair featuring lava-burst special parts and 12 NanoWorld Figures.

The Barbie family has also saddled up for the fight for Eternia in the all-new Barbie Signature Masters of the Universe dolls. He-Man and Teela are represented in this new collection, with He-Man possibly being the most pumped Barbie doll yet. They will hit the shelves starting April 25, both offline at brick-and-mortar stores as well as on creations.mattel.com. Pricing has not been revealed.

And then there’s the movie-inspired 5.5-inch action figures of Nicholas Galitzine’s He-Man and Jared Leto’s Skeletor. That’s in the Origins stylization, which will be joined by a new Kids Core line, plus a Chronicles Collector line.

The movie MOTU will also have Funko Pop! vinyl figures, which you expect: the big-headed, Q-version of He-Man, Adam, Teela, Man-At-Arms, Skeletor, and more.

Hot Wheels is on board, too, with 1:64 scale Hot Wheels original die-cast cars featuring authentic character-inspired designs.

Mattel also has card games covered with Masters of the Universe UNO, featuring iconic images from the film and a special “Sword of Power” rule that lets players discard two cards on their turn. Unfortunately, there’s no wielding of swords involved.

Finally, there’s the Masters of the Universe-inspired sunglasses from Goodr.

The MOTU movie merch is not limited to toys and sunglasses; it will also include apparel, publishing, accessories, and more. More brands are also expected to join, including Beeline Creative, BoxLunch, Factory Entertainment, Fanattik, Komar Sleepwear, MONDO, Prime 1 Studio, PERFECT Sports, and more.

The Masters of the Universe product line will start hitting retail shelves globally starting April 25, 2026.
