McDonald’s China Lenovo French Fries Wireless Mouse
Your old Happy Meal toys might have found a new job. McDonald's China has teamed up with Lenovo to create a French fries-inspired wireless mouse made partly from recycled toys. It even comes with a clever storage pouch that unfolds into a mousepad resembling the fast-food chain's iconic green tray liner.

McDonald’s collaborating with pop culture icons is nothing new. From movies and video games to fashion labels, the fast-food giant has had its fair share of collaborations over the years. But over in China, McDonald’s does more than pop culture collaborations. It dabbles in tech products, too, like the collab with Fujifilm for a disposable film camera. And now, it has teamed up with Lenovo to bring you a wireless mouse that looks like a carton of McDonald’s French fries.

Dubbed the French Fries Wireless Mouse, or Fry Mark, it isn’t shaped like actual fries, mind you. Instead, Lenovo uses colors and molded details to create the illusion of McDonald’s iconic French fries carton, complete with its classic curved front and fries sticking out, while retaining the shape of a regular computer mouse.

The mouse features a magnetic cover, quiet-click operations, three DPI settings, a 380 mAh rechargeable battery, and dual connectivity via Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless.

But the fun doesn’t end there. It comes with a rather clever 2-in-1 storage pouch that unzips and unfolds into a mousepad inspired by McDonald’s classic green tray liner. Zip it back up, and you have a carrying case for the mouse, or whatever else that can fit inside. There’s even a zipper pull resembling a fry dipped in sauce, plus a ring for attaching the pouch to a hook or carabiner.

Here’s something even more interesting. More than 60% of the mouse’s outer shell is made from recycled plastic recovered from old Happy Meal toys. The pouch also uses recycled materials, including recycled fibers in its felt sections.

It’s all part of McDonald’s China’s Reimagine Good Things initiative, launched in 2021 to turn discarded materials into useful new products. So, in a way, yesterday’s Happy Meal toys have grown up and joined the workforce. How’s that for a career change?

Unfortunately, this little piece of fast-food computing history was limited to just 4,000 units, offered exclusively in China on October 22 and 23, 2026. Reports indicate that it has already sold out, with no international release announced.

The McDonald’s China x Lenovo French Fries Wireless Mouse was priced at 99 yuan [CH] (around US$14), plus 18 McDonald’s membership points.
