As it turns out, Meizu MYVU is not one product. Alongside the Meizu MYVU AR smart glasses is a sleek smart ring. That’s right. Meizu also has a smart ring. But it is probably not going head to head with Samsung, Ringconn, WIZPR, and the like internationally since it is unlikely to be available outside of China.
It is also very different from the rest of the smart ring; the Meizu’s MYVU Smart Ring pairs with Meizu smart glasses, creating a futuristic duo that turns your hand into a digital command center, possibly making you feel like Tony Stark IRL. With intuitive gesture control, you can answer calls, swipe notifications, and perform other actions like you’re directing traffic in the Matrix.
The ring looks and feels fancy too—smooth like jade on the outside, tough on the inside. Four sizes ensure a good fit, and after 2 hours of charging, it’s ready for all-day use. It is available now in China for just 399 yuan [CH] (around US$57).
