“Men With Beards Looking Upwards” Is Some Weird And Hilarious Sh*t

The existence of Internet and social media moves trend. Through the young history of this marriage between the Internet and social media, it has created many trends. Some harmful while some are plain hilarity. The latest to hit Twitter is this trend known as “men with beards looking upwards.” Yup. It is weird. I guess you don’t need Movember to appreciate manly facial hair, do you? This one here is a plain celebration of facial hair from a totally different perspective. A perspective that probably only your kids get to see. But now, the Internet gets to see it.

Apparently, this weird, humorous trend was started by one Twitter user ‘Dan’ with the post “Men with beards looking upwards for your view pleasure. Don’t say I don’t give you anything.” Predictably, the weird and wonderful people exist on the Internet responded and the rest, as they say, is history. There’s no hashtag to measure its viral-o-meter, but it is trending alright. Just look at the numbers of like and retweeted Dan’s original post gets. Granted, Dan’s micro blogging platform’s post did not cause a Twitter melt down, but it has been getting quite an attention.
