Skeletor, He-Man’s greatest nemesis and Eternia’s worst nightmare, has been in several crossovers. There is the Thundercats crossover, a stint as Shredder in TMNT, and he also had a run-in with Bumblebee/Man-At-Arms as Megatron. So far, he has been mostly recognizable as the beefy villain with a skeletal skull for a head. But not this time with the Monster High Skullector Skeletor Doll.

The Skullector’s image is stronger, but there’s the thing: it is actually pretty damn cool. That’s right, folks. The Sorcerer of Sass, the Megalomaniacal Monster, the baddie with a bone to pick with He-Man, is now in heels, and ermm, he is a she?
Well. What can I say? Turns out Skeletor cleans up surprisingly well for a trip outside Snake Mountain. Hmmm, does this make this the official Lady Skeletor? Now, now, Evil-Lyn would be pissed. She should be the only lady with power.
This Monster High Skullector Skeletor reimagines Eternia’s loudest villain as a 10.5-inch (26.7 cm) fashion menace with attitude to spare. The signature look is still unmistakable. Metallic blue mesh outfit with sonic-welded vinyl armor details forms the bodice, gauntlets, and belt. Flowing purple hair replaces the usual hooded intimidation routine, paired with a dramatic cloak and glowing red eyes that still say universe domination is on the agenda.
Then come the shoes. Clawed sandals in front. Snake Mountain heels at the back. If Skeletor ever wondered how to conquer Eternia with style points, this is the answer. Perhaps, she can strut down to Castle Grayskull like doing the runaway.
Naturally, the Havoc Staff is included. A snake coils around one leg like it owns the place. The whole presentation leans fully into Monster High’s theatrical fashion language while somehow staying unmistakably Skeletor. Not an easy trick, but I think it somehow works.
Packaging also gets collector treatment with a matte finish, spot UV details, and a slipcover featuring dynamic artwork layered over a deluxe window box. It even comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The doll itself has 11 points of articulation and includes a stand, which is helpful since ruling the universe is easier when you are not falling over mid-pose.
The Monster High Skullector Skeletor Doll is available now for US$70.
